Reading Notes: Homer's Odyssey, Part B

I’ve always wonder the origin of Siren. The Sirens are the well-known creatures in the mythology for being both beautiful and dangerous. Yet, there is no explanation for Siren’s enchanting singing and why they want to kill any people passing by. So, I create my own explanation this mysterious creature.

In the same story of Odyssey, Scylla is also known to be a scary monster in addition to the Siren. Unlike the Siren with beautiful appearance, Scylla’s appearance is very frightful. After looking into Scylla’s story, I feel like she is the victim of unreasonable jealousy. I want to free her fate.
