I am very curious about the Cyclops. From Wikipedia, I know that Polyphemus is the son of Poseidon, but he lived among other Cyclops. Other Cyclops was not fathered by Poseidon. How can they are the same species when they have different parents?
I’m wondering why Circe so hateful towards strangers, especially men. Was she hurt by man before? From Wikipedia, Circe gave birth to three sons, fathered by Odysseus. Why did Circe let Odysseus go and help him?
